VLC Oktoberfest is VLC’s inaugural lacrosse tournament. Our one-day tournament is being held on October 7th, and 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 club teams have been invited. Each team will play two games in a festival format.

Rules
- NCAA rules (2017-18 version)
- No 60 second shot clock
- 30 second advancement for ALL games
- Two 24-minute halves
- 5 minute halftime
- One timeout per game
- No overtime

Location
- George Mason University West Campus
- Approximate GPS address: 4605 Rapidan River Road in Fairfax
- Enter from Braddock Road. Your GPS may direct you to enter from University Boulevard, but that entrance is often locked.
- Field 3 is the TURF field to the LEFT of the pavilion
- Field 4 is the GRASS field to the RIGHT of the pavilion
- There is free parking along Rapidan River Road. There is also elevated parking next to the tennis courts, but that may be permit based.

Updates
- Scores and any tournament updates (e.g. inclement weather) will be tweeted. Please follow @vlclax. This will be our only form of communication during the tournament.

Miscellaneous
- There is a mens restroom and a womens restroom on the side of the pavilion facing the fields. There is also a family restroom inside the pavilion.
- You are welcome to set up a tailgate, but grills are NOT allowed at George Mason
