VLC is holding Fall 2018 tryouts this August. We will select ONE team per GRADE for the Classes of 2020 – 2028. We conduct one tryout per year, and the teams subsequently formed will train and compete from Fall 2018 – Summer 2019. Youth tryouts will be from August 5th – 11th (except for 2027 & 2028), and HS tryouts will be from August 12th – 19th. There is an open competition for every roster spot, and all current players must try out for their respective team again.

VLC’s focus is developing individual skills and teaching team concepts needed to be an impact player. Our youth program is focused on skill development and learning how to win as a team in preparation for HS. Our HS program is focused on preparing players and maximizing exposure at the best recruiting events in order for them to play college lacrosse. Since our inception in 2009, 136 Blue Crabs have committed to collegiate programs while playing for VLC, including 79 from VLC 2015-2018.
